While no two accountants are the same, there are several attributes that seem to indicate an individual would be successful in the accounting profession. Among those attribute are:

• Common sense
• Enjoys solving complex problems
• Good computer skills
• Inquisitiveness
• Adaptability to changing environments

If you have some or all of these attributes, you have a head start on being a good accountant.
