You should make an advising appointment as soon as possible each semester. Please consult the University of Memphis calendar for appropriate dates. You may call (901)678-2855 or come by room 114 in the Fogelman College to schedule your appointment.

Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

You must make an appointment to be advised before you register for each semester. If you require a permit to take a course, please follow the procedures listed at "permits" on the college webpage.

Before you come to your appointment for advising, please review your degree audit. The quality of our session with you will depend on your preparedness.

If you are anticipating graduation, you must set an appointment with graduation analyst the semester before you graduate. These appointments may also be made by calling (901)678-2855 or by stopping our office. Ms. Sandra Akah will take about half an hour to complete your graduation checkout. Further questions concerning your graduation may be addressed to Ms. Akah at sakah@memphis.edu.

We ask you to review the graduation proofs which will list your name as it will appear in the graduation program. The list is found in our office. The name listed will be the name that appears on your admissions paperwork. Please inform Ms. Akah of any errors or changes that need to be made to your name.

You may, in special circumstances, request a late withdrawal from the course work that you are taking. Please contact Dr. Rebecca Bragdon at rbragdon@memphis.edu. She will inform you of the conditions under which a request may be honored and what documentation will be needed.
